(SRB) Insurance company "AS osiguranje" starts with work tomorrow

Belgrade-based Insurance company "AS osiguranje" has announced that it will start with work tomorrow. "AS osiguranje" was founded by insurance company "Adriatic Slovenica" from Koper with the initial capital of 5m EUR. "AS osiguranje", which will be offering all types of non-life insurance, obtained working license from the National Bank of Serbia on January 30, 2008.

According to the data provided by NBS, "Adriatic Slovenica" is the second largest insurance company in Slovenia with 233m EUR worth of gross premiums and it was founded in 2005 as the result of a merger of two companies.

"Adriatic Slovenica" is the only Slovenian insurance company with 100% of capital in private possession. It deals with all types of insurance and has the license for work in European Union. It also has branch offices in several neighboring countries.
