The Ambassador of Cuba to Belgrade, Mercedes Martinez Valdes has visited Galenika. Together with the management of the company, she considered realization of agreed kinds of cooperation of the company and the most prestigious Cuban institutes in the area of pharmacy industry, claims Galenika. The main topic of the talks with the management of Galenika, led by the director Nenad Ognjenovic, was cooperation with Cuban institutes, such as HenerBiotec, Dalmer and Placentaria (Centro de histoterapia placentaria). The Ambassador said that cooperation with Galenika was important for Cuba not only because of good relations dating from the time of Yugoslavia, but because of the fact that it was a significant health care institution with recognized international achievements. In September, Galenika signed an Agreement on non-disclosure and Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute Herberbiotec. The Agreement on License with the Institute, which provides Galenika with an exclusive right for production of several products on the territory of the West Balkans, is being complied with the representatives of the Institute Damler at the moment, it was said in the announcement.
