Drivers from Serbia will be able to travel from January 1st, next year to all EU countries and some other European countries without the "green card" for international compulsory insurance for vehicles, announced the Association of Insurers of Serbia (UOS). For travel it will be enough to have the registration sticker which you get with new registration plate, so during each registration. Serbia became the part of the "subsystem of the registration number" because at the Annual General Meeting of the "Green Card Bureau" in May UOS signed the international agreement which means that the registration number is the proof that the insurance of car liability exists.

"If some uninsured vehicle from Serbia enters the territory of EU, we (UOS) will bear the expense", explained the general secretary of UOS, Vladan Manic. The Association coordinated its operation with EU directives in the system of international car liability insurance.
