(MAC) External debt of Macedonia 2 billion euros

Total external debt of Macedonia amounted 2, 089 billion euros, representing 28, 2% of GDP at the end of last year. Macedonian external debt rose by 146 million euros in three months. In Macedonia there are about two million inhabitants, the average wage is around 345 euros and the average pension is 170 euros.

According to the latest data of the European statistical office (Eurostat), the lower external debt than Macedonia had Estonia (6, 1 percent of GDP), Bulgaria (15 percent) and Luxembourg (18, 5 percent). Previously, the London Economist wrote that Macedonia is at the top of the worlds destitution and that the credit for this can take over unemployment and inflation. In Macedonia, the misery index registered the highest unemployment rate of 32 percent and the inflation rate is three percent, writes the Economist.
