The total foreign trade of Serbia in the period January-February 2012 was about 3, 197 billion which is 0, 8 percent less than the same period last year, according to the Republican Statistical Office (RZS) of Serbia. Expressed in dollars, the total foreign trade of Serbia in the first two months this year was about 4, 172 billion or 4, 2 percent less than in the 2011.



Exports of goods valued about 1, 074 billion euros, or 9, 9 percent less than in January-February 2011, while imports were around 2, 122 billion euros, or 4, 5 percent higher. The deficit in January-February, according to RZS, was about 1, 048 billion euros, which makes a drop of 24, 8 percent over the same period last year. The coverage of import ratio was 50, 6%.
