Thanks to the good cooperation of the Agricultural Bureau of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) and plant nursery HIH Fruit, for 12 fruit producers in the canton is provided a donation of ten thousand seedlings of raspberries. "The donation of 10,000 seedlings of raspberry is decided to be given to fruit growers from the municipalities of Cazin, Bihac, Velika Kladusa and Bosanska Krupa. Currently, under the berries fruit in the USK is 160 hectares, and by planting of 10,000 seedlings this area will be increased for 1.2 hectares" said Director of the Agricultural Bureau USK Smail Toromanovic.




The Department estimates that this year, producers from USC will export to the European Union approximately 300 tons of fresh raspberries. Production of raspberries and other types of berries intensifies from year to year in this part of BiH.
