In the moment when Serbia joins European Union (EU), she will have the right to use from 1.1 to 1.7 billion euros from European funds for agriculture, said Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Netherlands, Henri de Roy.
"In addition to these 1.7 billion euros Serbia can count, on around one billion euros from the fund for job creation, which means that Serbian agriculture can count on 2.7 billion euros from European Union," said De Roy during the presentation of the study "Serbia towards European integration - consequences on agricultural policy and agro-business sector", written by Simon Van Brukel for the Netherland and Natalija Bogdanov, for the Serbian side. De Roy said that for Serbia those are significant resources that are equal to 3.7 percent of gross domestic product.
