For already three months, the intensive negotiations between representatives of the Croatian Power and Electric Power of Republika Srpska are lasting, aimed to resolve disputes between the two companies that have been around for years. If the agreement is made , all conditions for the construction of new hydroelectric Dubrovnik 2 will be created , and also HEP-investment in the construction of a new unit power plant Gacko.
In addition to these highly profitable investments, such a scenario would be practically the beginning of wider cooperation between Croatia and Republika Srpska, in which Croatian companies would receive the possibility of investments in energy facilities in the Republika Srpska. These are the projects of the potential value of tens of billions of euros.
