Croatian aero transporter Croatia Airlines showed interest in buying 49% of BH Airlines shares. The Croats showed interest after a Turkish company had officially cancelled cooperation with the airline from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Board of Directors of the Turkish airline did not come out with the reasons for retreating from the BH Airlines, but it announced that the contract on returning the 49% of the shares to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina would be signed, since they are the major shareholder of the airline.





This is not the first time that the Croatian airline wanted to get hold of the shares in BH Airlines. Four years ago the Croatian national airline wanted to become the major shareholder of the BH Airlines, but they withdrew from the tender procedure.
