Representatives of Serbia and Azerbaijan signed Agreement of loan for construction of the section of Corridor 11

Representatives of Serbia and Azerbaijan signed Agreement of loan of that country for construction of the section  of Corridor 11, from Ljig to Preljine, worth 300 million euros. Agreement was signed by the minister of foreign affairs of Serbia Vuk Jeremic and the minister for economic development of Azerbaijan Sahin Mustafayev in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku.



Jeremic, after signing the agreement, pointed out that significant step was maid in the direction of making firmer economic connection of Serbia and Azerbaijan. Jeremic specified that the Azerbaijan government set aside significant funds from its state fund under conditions that are, as he said, far better than from those for market.

- We will build highway from Ljig to Preljine together. Works can practically begin now, all the funds are secured and when the construction of that highway is over, it will be possible to come from Ljig to Preljine for less than half an hour - he said.
